Not another AI course.

AI can generate code, but building good software takes more than code. It takes judgment, creativity, communication, and an understanding of the people and communities technology serves.

SOURCE CODE combines professional development with hands-on AI practice. You'll question common assumptions about AI, explore research and evidence, and learn to decide when AI is useful, when it falls short, and how to use it responsibly.

The goal? To help you become a well-rounded developer who can work effectively with people and AI — and make better decisions about what to build.

What you'll learn

Build the skills to work thoughtfully, collaborate effectively, and develop with AI.

Become a stronger professional: Develop clear writing, useful feedback, self-management, collaboration, problem framing, and systems thinking.
Think critically about AI: Explore AI's limitations, risks, ethics, and potential for good. Engage with research and test claims against your own experience.
Build with AI — responsibly: Get hands-on with agentic coding tools, open models, building and evaluating with models, and reviewing, testing, and securing AI-generated code.

Put your skills to the test

Learning goes beyond theory. You'll take part in weekly live sessions with industry experts and guest speakers, learn alongside developers from across Iraq, and work towards a final project that simulates a real workplace scenario.

20 November 2026 – 23 January 2027.

Fully online

Part-time (15 hrs/week), remote-first with live online workshops, async learning, and peer engagement.
