"Whether you want to uncover the secrets of the universe, or you just want to pursue a career in the 21st century, basic computer programming is an essential skill to learn."
Ever wondered if you could learn how to code? Intro to HTML & CSS is an online course for beginners looking to take the first steps in building their very own website and explore a potential career as a web developer.
Get introduced to the world of web development, the foundational understanding of HTML & CSS, and learn about the different career paths you can pursue.
Explore how web pages are made and write your first lines of code with the most used HTML tags, paragraphs, display images, and generally how to follow wireframe designs.
Learners will start formatting a webpage using appropriate CSS properties as you start adding background color, image height, width, font color, size, etc.
We move into more advanced elements with the HTML ‘div’ tags and explore additional CSS properties while learning how to use semantic tags for SEO and the importance of order in your code.
You will now apply all your knowledge of HTML and CSS to create your own showcase project, embedding all your previous projects. You will also learn to identify and fix errors.
