Our Founders

Dedicated to building Re:Coded’s vision of a more inclusive digital future.
Alexandra Clare
CEO & Co-Founder
Ali is passionate about using technology to address global challenges. She has worked across humanitarian advocacy, innovation, and law with organizations including NYU, the UN, Human Rights Watch, and the NSW Department of Public Prosecutions. Her work has been featured by CNN, Vogue, TechCrunch, and the BBC. Ali has received the Women in Tech Global Award (2021, 2023), NYU’s Changemaker of the Year (2021), and ANU’s Alumni of the Year (2020). She holds an MSc in Global Affairs from NYU, a law degree from the Australian National University, and is a Millennium Fellow with the Atlantic Council.
Marcello Bonatto
COO & Co-Founder
Marcello is driven by a deep curiosity about education, leadership, and innovation. He has worked with organizations including the UN, the Canadian Government, and Globo, and has spoken to audiences of tens of thousands about the power of human potential as a force for change. His work has been featured by TED, the Social Good Summit, BBC, Reuters, and CNN. Marcello was a 2021 Workforce Fellow at Columbia University, where he earned his MIA in International Affairs with a full scholarship from the Lehman Foundation. He continues to champion initiatives that unlock opportunities for youth in underserved communities worldwide.
