RE:CODED WEB DEVELOPMENT BOOTCAMP

Location: Erbil

Participants: 30

Curriculum: Flatiron School's Full Stack Web Development

Re:Coded launched it's pilot bootcamp in July 2016 with 30 Syrian refugees and displaced Iraqi youth. During the bootcamp, fellows went through Flatiron School's Full Stack Web Development curriculum learning the basics of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ruby on Rails.

The program also incorporated English language training, project management and business communication skills to ensure fellows came out of the program job ready.

Re:Coded was a life changing program. It gave the opportunity to become a proper web developer and gave me access to the entire technology industry.
